Showing the world I find (assuming I bring a camera and can eventually find Internet Access)

First Post

First Post! Woooo!

Seriously though. I’m flying up to Fairbanks, AK with one of my best friends. We’re going to pickup his car and a few remaining items that were left behind. Then we’re driving the 3500-ish miles back. I’m working on the idea that I will be able to find Internet access along the way. I’ll upload my thoughts for the day along with some pictures to show what it’s like.

Wish me luck! 🙂

p.s. Look! I can post pictures along the way. Lucky I had this one online from Ali’s photo shoot.  Just wait till I’ve got my camera and I’m on the road 😉

  5. Hey Jon (and Ryan),
Enjoying the blog! Been wishing you guys a fun trip. I merely flew in and out; missed the gritty, awesome nature that is (everywhere but Fairbanks) Alaska 🙂

Jon, you take the exact same photos I would have taken 🙂 I’ve got graffiti, awesome views, cool places, food, awe-inspiring views, weird places, weird languages, … but no ninja girl distractions… well, my own, but no photos 😉

    More later! 😀
PS – the recaptcha image below contains the words “battling” and “Frock” – ya think the prograqmmers were geeks or what? 😀

  6. Jon, sorry to hear about your I-POD. WHAT a GYP. I think it was a Canadian conspiracy. Glad you are back in U.S. territory and the little nook bear on your lunch was cute. Stay safe. Tell Ryan I said hello. We met years back when I would go visit Rob up at UNC, I’m not sure he would remember.
